I am a preschool music teacher that has experience in over a few hundred instruments I put my two strongest instruments up however I do offer a lot of more as well. I have been a music educator since I was 13 years old. My former students have played at Disneyland, opened for Mumford and sons, played in the drum corps international program as a soloist, and much more. I have recorded songs with various others and have played songs in front of thousands of people. I not only teach music but I teach performance of this music as well.
I have experience teaching high school marching band with the low brass section. I have also taught for various drum corps. I mainly specialize in preschool aged students. I have been a preschool music teacher for 3-4 years and I even taught at a preschool for about a year. Music is focus in life I am also very good with children. I was raised to play many instruments and also to teach preschool students. I can teach older age groups but my primary focus is 3-16. I look forward to hearing from all of you.
My methods as a teacher are very vast. I have taught many people and my success in teaching is unrivaled. I am able to make my students change direction, focus, get back on track, use a tangent to further a topic and much more. I think most music teachers focus on the music and not enough on their abilities to teach. I have been a preschool teacher and filled various other educational roles. I am very good if not the best teacher I know. I can teach anyone not only the value of love of music but do this with quality as well.
I love working with my students. It’s the best part of my job. I love seeing the natural progression of my students. I let students progress at a state that they are comfortable with. I push my students but I know where to draw the line. Asking a student to play a note then all of their scales is not what I do. I tailor every single lesson to every single one of my individual students. I think people tend to underestimate the individualism of today. I like to make every students experience unique.
