Overview:
Hi My name is Camille, I graduated from USF with a Bachelor in Business Management. I grew up in a family of musicians, so I had the opportunity to grow up with traditional classical, oriental, Rock and Blues influences. I have had the opportunity to perform in multiple venues, recitals and universities growing up. I am a guitarist, a pianist and a singer. I am very fond of Classic 70's, 80's and 90's rock and blues music. While younger, I also learned to play the accordeon, drums and harmonica.
EXPERIENCE
My teaching experience dates back to college. I began teaching private lessons part time about 12 years ago and have been consistently teaching students in my home studio for the last 7 years. Routine and regular practice are a great combination to build muscle memory and an instinctual feel for music as well as a connection and passion to your instrument. Incorporating classical and oriental nuances are a great way to enhance rock music and solos, as well as make lessons & practice melodically fun and progressive. I can help you play the songs that you have in mind and that you might like to sing along, as well as enrich your musical vocabulary to build harmonious and melodic solos. Im always happy to pass on my teachings and introduce new students to music whenever I am given the chance.
METHODS USED
For beginners, I begin with the essential elements of music, such as notes and scales as an introductory lesson on the guitar. To play music, one should first understand music. For intermediate and advanced levels, the focus will be on chord progression and scales. Lessons will be tailored to the student to help him/her achieve the objectives they have in mind. You can expect to be introduced to various scales, modes, finger picking techniques, different music styles, riffs, building chord progressions, Tapping and more.
LESSON STYLE
My teaching style is relaxed but consistent. The goal for students is first to enjoy music, and then progress at their own pace. I am interested in knowing what student is looking to accomplish in music and introduce ways and exercises that will help him get where he wants to get. Music is free flowing and so should be methods of teaching. Practice is key to success in this discipline, and it takes commitment and patience to become one with your instrument. Music is for everyone and for every age. It is never too late to learn music!

He is very patient with our daughter and an excellent instructor who is obviously passionate about music and guitar playing. Also, he is very accommodating with our family's busy schedule and offers lessons at very convenient times that works for all involved.
