Miss Kathy is a fantastic violin teacher. She teaches music theory, proper technique, scales, arpeggios, and the fundamentals of string instrument music. We are working through the Suzuki method, and Miss Kathy is really helping our son with his timing. She won't move past a song until the student gets the rhythm and tone correct. I like how she incorporates the Twinkle variations into scales and other exercises. Violin is a challenging instrument, and Miss Kathy is very patient and focused. She has a wonderful personality, and works hard to develop our son's trust and loyalty. She's helping our son to form a solid foundation in music. He loves playing violin.
