I have been teaching private and group lessons for the past 14 years. I really enjoy seeing my students grow into the musicians they desire to be and love being an encouraging teacher for them. I am a touring musician and teach internationally via Skype. My focus has been on jazz, fusion, rock, gospel, classical, blues, and country. I am also a session musician. My primary mentors have been Anthony Wellington and Carol Kaye, but have studied and learned from many professional musicians. I am fluent in bass guitar, guitar, voice, piano, music business, and music production.

I like to make sure all of my students have a solid foundation before moving on to more advanced songs, technique, and theory. I also cater to my students interests. For example, if they want to play rock I will throw in various rock songs to keep them motivated and hungry to learn. I am an encouraging and serious teacher, with an upbeat and enthusiastic personality. For more advanced students, we can begin the lesson with their interests and I cater the lesson to their needs. These lessons tend to focus on technique, efficiency, application and theory.
