I am a native of Fort Worth, TX. I began playing and singing at the age of 11. I participated in music during school from elementary to college. My accomplishments include placing first place in solo and ensemble, marching band contest, jazz band contest, etc. I have also established my own band and group who performs in the DFW metroplex. I have played in church since I was 12 years old.
My teaching dates back to my high school days, as I began teaching middle school during my off period. I have been succesfully and consistently teaching students in my studio for 6+ years.
For beginning students I typically start with fundamentals and basic sticking or chording. For experienced students I begin with what they know and look for areas of strength.
My lessons are always fun and memorable. I pay attention to learning developments for each student to develop a precise teaching method that will be understandable.
