I'm a professional music instructor, who's able to be creative, capable to interpret music with feeling, love to work with students, very patient, and knowledgeable. I'm an expert in violin and piano performance and instruction. I create a unique and comprehensive Lesson plans for each student. I teach beginner to advance levels for very young or adult students by conducting both in person or online lessons. Along with teaching how to play an instruments I also teach theory at the same time, because I find that it's highly nessesary to understand how to read, count the rhythms, and many more about music. I'm able to teach any tipe/style of music my students will desire to play as soon as they're at appropriate level for performing music.
I have 20 years of teaching experience. Starting in Las Vegas I conducted private lessons at multiple private music schools where I had more than 50 students per week. In Los Angeles I continued to teach at music academies for many years. I'm an expert in listening to music and performing on an instruments immediately. So a lot of times, if my student's interrested in listening to a video and performing it on instrument by ear, I help them to do it. I speak three languages, English, Armenian, Russian.
For beginner piano students I use Alfred's books, which has different beginner levels for different ages. At first I perform my first lesson, where I decide which beginner book will much with the student, then I recommend an appropriate book for them. I also don't mind at all another company of books if they prefer so. For beginner violin students I recommend String builder or Essential elements books. They both are good skill building books. Both piano and violin books are introducing music step by step, along with technic, learning music notation, body position, short to longer tunes and many more... For experienced students at first I ask them what's their passion? What tipe of music they like to play? And according to their preferences we choose a right music for them, and start working:)
Each student is different. At first I try to see what's their passion, how much farther they want to learn, what style would they prefer, and more things about their preferences. For the beginners it's very important to learn step by step. But at the same time I always find out a unique way to entertain by performing a peace for them, and/or play along with them or play an accompaniment for them. I also do theory for about 10 minutes of each lesson. For experienced students, at first, I try to find out what specific level they are, according to that we pick Lesson books, also specific tipe of music they would play, since I'm able to teach and perform any tipe of music.
