Overview:
I am a Professional Multi-instrumentalist, with emphasis on Bass Guitar, Guitar, Lever Harp, Piano and Tenor Saxophone. I had the pleasure of working with some of the most amazing musicians from around the world. I am a highly passionate musician and instructor who loves to create all types of musical compositions. Making music improves the quality of people's lives through mental and physical change. I like to educate and be part of that process and lead others down the path of their own musical journey.
EXPERIENCE
I started teaching In New York over 20 years ago while in college and playing in bands. I have enjoyed teaching all types of people with a variety of interests and at all levels. I had the pleasure of teaching young children and creating fun and highly interactive lessons. I have held group lessons and also would teach autistic adults and senior citizens. I'm happy to provide individual custom-tailored lessons to make you the best player you can be. If you're a beginner we' will start from scratch. If you're an advanced player we'll figure out which areas you need to improve upon, and I'll take you to the next level. After a few lessons with me, you should see a dramatic improvement in your playing!
METHODS USED
My focus is on Technique, Warm ups, and Injury Prevention on each instrument. I like to give precise instructions on how to build up discipline and practice regimens. The key to mastering any instrument is consistency. I believe it's important to get to know each students interest and goals in order to create a customized plan. I try to make each lesson, fun and inspirational. Each person learns differently. This is known as "modality" Auditory By ear, or tonal instruction Kinesthetic By feel, learns from physically being shown, a hands-on learner Visual By sight, by fret board position memory and shape.

I derive great pleasure from observing my students accomplishments on a weekly basis.
