Overview:
I only have one aim on why I teach. I want to see my students bring out the best in them, see their strength in their talent, be inspired and motivated, be able to find their own niche and ultimately become better performers. Just seeing them grow in the passion they've chosen is a huge accomplishment for me. I believe that in teaching, I am learning as well. Sharing my passion to someone who is very passionate in their craft inspires me to even teach more. I've taught in many countries, all over Asia including Japan and the United States.
EXPERIENCE
My teaching experience dates back from high school days teaching church, college, university choirs, and eventually soloists or ensemble group. I have had groups who become champions in multiple competitions, I have had students who became queens of jazz vocal competitions, I have students who eventually became professional musicians and vocal artists, and I coach too while they are in a recording studio especially with first timers. Some of my students love to write their own original songs and I help them be able to choose the right vocabulary, rhymes, rhythm, melody and all.
METHODS USED
For beginners (piano) , 5 years and above, Hal Leonard, John Thompson, play, rest, play the piano together, For vocal students, I start by listening first to any song that they would like to sing, or find a song that will fit according to his/ her voice and make singing fun (at the beginning) and less stressing. Overall I make sure that my student is happy after a session. I hold annual recitals because that's where is see the ultimate produce of a one year hard practice. I'm a parent myself and what more can make a parent proud but see her child performing live on stage.
LESSON STYLE
When I teach, I tend to forget the time. I always walk an extra mile, vocal lessons especially. I want my students to learn the basic techniques on how to use their vocal chords, where to place their voices, how to memorize, how to hold the mic, how to emcee, how to phrase, express, improvise which really needs time in learning. But after that, students will be more inspired, motivated, more eager to learn and challenge themselves to be better singers or performers. Their wonderful performances are my happiness.

Select all the days/times the student would be available to start lessons. Selecting "3pm - 7pm" means the student can start as early as 3pm or start as late as 7pm. It is important that you select as many days and the widest window of start times for each day as possible. That will help us make a match with one of our teachers.
