Since I had four years old I started singing in my town church and in my school, from the people who comes home to listens to me. Then when I grew up I continue to singing in the local radio and small theaters. I was very famous in my town and all over the city. After that I traveled to the capital of my country and had a change to recorded two LPs. The first one was "Como Un Ave Sin Alas" with Hector Garrido Orchestra (He's orchestra was the most famous in the Latin area in New York City in 1980) the second album was "Pedazo De Tiempo" in Mexico City with the same orchestra in 1982.
I am sure, I was born a teacher, because when I explain anything, even in piano class, guitar or voice classes, I can see the reactions of the student when they understand me. They feel so happy and I feel so proud. From 1980 to 2013 I was piano and guitar player for a lot famous singers like "El Indio Araucano and Leo Marini and many more in the New City area. When I was not play piano or guitar for someone I worked as entertainment in different night clubs. Now I have a BA in music from NJCU and I love to be a music teacher.
I have a simple methods for teaching is: All the students have to have 3 Ps. The first one is: PREPARE The second P is: PRESENT The third P is: PRACTICE Also, I am a Music teacher, not a responsibility teacher. That means I am not take care your books or your homework. That the any student have to do it. Every student have to be on time in the studio classes, because I use have another student and then I can not sacrificing some one to come on time for some one to come some late. Finally: 'MUSICAL BRAIN' LOST IF NOT USED
I use to talk with my students for a few minutes, because I trying make them relax. Then I make questions above the homework's if they understand or no. If he/she do not understand the homework's I use to help them again. when they are ready to do I am ready to continue the class. I am trying to speak very slow and I have very much patience when I am teaching because one of my teachers said to me; "You need a lot of patience to be teacher". Probable all my students feeling happy with me. They love me and I love them.
