Not only did I graduate from Berklee College of Music on the Dean's Honors List but I am also a professional touring musician so, on top of being able to teach you from the schooling side of music, I will also be able to teach you the important aspects of being a proficient guitar player in a live performance setting. No matter what you hope to get out of lessons, I am confident that I will be able to help you achieve your goals!
I've steadily held between 6 – 10 students a week since 2011. I currently work for Musika & Take Lessons since 2012. I also currently work for Melody School of Music since 2012.
Methods are based entirely on how the student learns.
Most importantly, the lessons are always based around what YOU want to get out of them. If you need direction, I am more than happy to provide it but it makes me happiest to teach you whatever it is you want to be learning. This will ensure that lessons are always interesting and fun for you. The second most important aspect of my teaching philosophy is “what you get out of lessons is based on what you put into them.” In other words, how effective your growth as a guitarist will be is entirely dependent on you. I will assign you the work on a week-to-week basis and if you study and practice what I give you, you will see progress. I promise. Finally, do not ever get discouraged if an aspect of your playing takes more time to master than you expected. Coming from someone who took lessons for 8 years and then went to Berklee College of Music, you must understand that nothing in the mastering of a craft happens over night and that is true for everyone. Always remain driven and keep practicing and you will achieve your goals.
