My background in the performing art is rooted in my musical education in Bulgaria were I graduated in Cello Performance and I have Master Degree in chamber music under guidance of British trained violinist Angel Stankov . Later in USA I received a Graduate Certificate in cello music performance from The University of Southern California’s, Thornton School of Music, were I had the opportunity to study with amazing Mr. Ronald Leonard. My performing efforts were well received from the very beginning of my career recital and solo recordings for the Bulgarian National Radio and Television. My professional orchestra career began in Bulgaria at The National Radio Orchestra and at the same time I was holding the first chair as a principal at New Symphony Orchestra with conductor and music director - Rosen Milanov –presently assistant conductor of Philadelphia Philharmonic. Currently I performs with Santa Barbara Symphony , New West Symphony, Redlands Symphony , Bakersfield Symphony , Santa Barbara Opera Antelope Valley Symphony and first cellist at La Canada Presbyterian Church. I am also in the faculty as the cello teacher at “ Lark” Conservatory in Glendale, and cello instructor at Antelope Valley String Academy.

The cello’s sonorous and vibrant tone make it the most magnificent (razkochen) and lyrical instrument .With its deep and velvet tones the cello is the closest to the human voice instrument, following the inflection of speech and song. That make the cello unique and attempting children and adult to study it. The primary emphasis is on giving students a thorough grounding in the fundamentals of cello technique -- a relaxed, comfortable hand position, correct intonation, bowing, and tone production. The basics of music (reading and counting) will be covered as needed. As the beginning student progresses, more advanced techniques, including shifting, double stops, and phrasing, will be introduced.
