I started playing the violin at the age of 8 and now I have been playing it for 30 years. I started working with children when I turned 19 and to this day I have never stopped. I studied and worked at the same time, as well as playing in an orchestra, and I developed a strong work ethic. With the students, I organized concerts and trips to competitions, as well as going to additional professional training and violin masterclasses. The most beautiful job and this journey called violin and music make me grateful and happy to do what I love the most.
For beginners, especially children of 3, 4 and 5 years old, we do everything through play, rhythm, drawing, listening to music and correct placement of both hands on the violin and bow through various exercises. After age of 6, they are start introduce to music theory, notes, the basics of rhythm in my various ways. We learn about the violin , the settings, the way of playing, etc. My method is classical music through which you learn all the rules of music and the proper way to play the instrument. After that , any genre of music then every child and student can play.
Every child can develop musical skills if taught in the right way. Clean, proper , smart and with dedicated concentration. I think teaching the methods- the scales & techniques in music, the grammar and figures of speech in language is so helpful, because as well as not missing things out, the student is given a logical way of perceiving the subject which s/he can slot into her brain. The ultimate goal of all practice is performance. Etudes, scales should be studied so that they can be as a short, violinistic pieces. Even scales should be practiced musicially.
