I have been teaching and playing piano all my life. Looking forward to helping you learn to play and enjoying music. The methods I use I explain in detail with some of the other questions on this platform. I am also a working and professional pianist here in Plant City Florida. I have my studio in my home and my wife and I have been in Florida since 2017. We have 4 children and five grandchildren who come to visit us from time to time. Hopefully I can be your favorite piano teacher and we will become friends as well.
I’m from Dayton Ohio and taught piano and theory lessons at University of Dayton/ Dayton Band Music Store and from my home for many years. Average 40 students per week for a very long period. I have been playing and performing professionally most of my adult life. I am now the music director at St Clement Catholic Church in Plant City Florida. Hope to see you soon. I teach classical techniques reading and writing music from beginning to advanced students. Teaching piano has been a huge part of my life and j have always enjoyed sharing music with my friends and family along with all the students over the last 40 years. I hope to be able teach and play for the rest of my life as long as I’m able. I’m still working full time at my church here in Plant City but have very flexible hours. I play for all the weekend masses including Spanish and English. Weddings and funerals etc…
Classical and jazz music and multiple styles. Beginners are always fun to teach Kids are like sponges they just absorb everything you can think of and they will always give me a sense that I’m doing something they can enjoy for their whole life. Adults can be somewhat of a challenge especially if they never played an instrument while growing up but if they’re willing to put the time and effort in it can become a very fulfilling and nice hobby. I have always enjoyed teaching students of all ages and backgrounds.
