Established New York musician. Berklee College of Music Graduate. I always loved music and listening to it with my family and friends. When I had the chance to learn and instrument and be able to actually make music, that opened my eyes to a whole new world and it changed me to become a better person and do better in other subjects. Now I have the chance to share my experience and knowledge with students and there is nothing that I enjoy more that that. Performing in different places has being a great experience in my life, I had the chance to play at the Boston Symphony Orchestra Theater. Seattle Music Festival under the Needle and other places. I also had the chance to play and record with musicians like Kenny Werner, Tigran Hamasyan, Ralph Peterson.
Have been teaching for many years and know that each student has their own mindset and we need to work around each person`s goals and interests. I teach mainly pop, rock, blues, jazz, funk, RnB. All ages and levels are welcome. My students are encourage to bring music pieces/tunes for our sessions so we can work on them. I also encourage them to compose something of their own original material, so they can feel good about their accomplishments. Music for young children is also proven to help develop their brain and make them grow mentally strong. Music is what I love the most, and I wanna share what I know with other people.
Lessons are very relaxed and we will focus on ways to practice and getting the student to learn what he/she wants. Some people just want to come and learn a few tunes, some want to really learn the instrument and practice all the time. It all depends on the individual and I`m more than ready to adapt for each one of my students with the methods I have. On our first class we will spend some time discussing what are the goals of the student and I will formulate a good plan so we can reach those goals in no time.
I love to help people find joy in music. I have young students that dream on being a rock star and every time we play "Back In Black" they open a huge smile and have so much fun. And I have adult students that never touched an instrument before, but now know how magic and unique it is to make music. I love how music allows people to heal from their pains and at the same time multiply someone`s happiness. On my classes, I show students not only ways to practice and learn their instrument, but also how you can apply everything you learn in music on your own life.
