I’m a Bass Player. Live performance & instruction is what I do on a daily basis. I’m a professional musician originally from San Juan (Argentina), and have been based in the United States since 2008. I play different styles and genres, but especially Pop/Rock/R&B, Alternative & Hip Hop Music. I started in Buenos Aires (Argentina) and later relocated to other cities including New York & Los Angeles. I have been playing and touring in North America, South America, Europe & Australia. I’ve played & recorded on several records for International Acts on Major & Indie Labels. Most importantly, I am privileged to be a full time musician with knowledge of multiple genres of music. I record and play shows on a daily basis, and travel wherever the music takes me. Nowadays I’m playing multiple gigs and sessions between Los Angeles, New York, and Buenos Aires.
EXPERIENCE
I have been teaching students since 1999 privately as well as with small groups of people. I'm very passionate about transmitting my experiences to every single student and encouraging them to achieve their goals with the best attitude.
I’ve recorded, toured, and played with: Edisun – (FOF-EMI), Dive (Phase One – Red Sony), Ana Free (Warner Singapore), 202 (Pop Art – Sony/BMG), Panza (Ultrapop), and many others. I’m currently on tour with Diego Garcia (Elefant) about to promote his upcoming album “Paradise” playing all over the US, Canada, Mexico, South America & Europe.
As solo Performer, I just released my own first solo record. My influences are Hip Hop, Jazz, Soul and NYC urban culture. I’ve been honored to have several renowned musicians, producers & engineers involved on this album. I currently use Pensa custom basses, Mesa/Boogie amplifiers, D’addario strings, Planet Waves cables, Pedaltrain pedalboards and Mono cases.
METHODS USED
I like to work based on what each student needs. I encourage the student to take his or her own interests into account on a regular basis. I also use a basic foundation to determine what the student needs to attack first, such as technique, harmony, ear trinning and scales. Of course, finger, pick, and slap styles are included. All kind of styles & genres are welcome, from the more basic to the more complex genres. I like to show the hidden potential every student has, by developing skills to have a simple but strong routine of exercises that keep the student eager to take more home work and challenge.
LESSON STYLE
I care about students achieving their goals and getting their own flow. I always do my best to inspire everyone and get them focused and ready to commit to their music. I encourage students to become greater at that, but always keeping the joy alive. Depending on the age, discovering everyone's potential is the key. I make sure student get excited for the next lesson and goes back to their instrument right after we finish the class. I care about having a good feedback of the student's connection with the instrument.
