2012- best achievement in music performance
2019- best performance in music program
I’ve been learning and training for over 15 years in the study of vocal. I’ve performed in Lincoln center, All city Chorus, Latin Jazz ensemble , Carnegie Hall, Kaufman Music School, Queensborough Community College etc. I fell in love with singing when I was very young and I knew this what I wanted to do for the rest of my life. So for me to share that to other people that has the same passion as I do. It makes me really grateful and Ecstatic to help others become the performance they want to become.
Even through my years of raining , learning and performing. I’ve started teaching toddlers through adults in my first teaching job in Barbizon. I knew that I wanted to share my expertise in the world of other who has the same passion in vocal performance as I do. I’ve been teaching for over a year now and I love to stay active and loose with my students so they can feel comfortable in the environment there in. I teach majorly of genres of music , vocal techniques , breathing, warm ups and more!
For all my students I let them be opened to what they wanted to learn. Genres , artist etc. I believe as an artist you should make your own choices and see for yourself what kind of singer you want to be. That starts with the choice of song you choice then we can work our way up to learning it and perfecting it. Furthermore, we can expand on learning other songs that you may or may not feeling comfortable singing to give your repertoire a variety of genres and artist. So you as an artist can expand and grow.
Nothing makes me happier to see the passion that someone has on music. I think it’s important to practice and practice your craft. It takes time and effort to become the performer you want to become. I wanted to inspire everyone that they can become there full self as a performer, artist etc. I want to work together and see the full potential that I can push you through in any pace you need to follow your dream. An artist doesn’t become big overnight it takes time , practice and the love for they do to really fulfill it!
Ms. Melody was the greatest music teacher I’ve ever had. I worked with her for about 5 months and I can definitely say I’ve learned more about techniques of singing, techniques in body language, delivering a message through music, and music in general than I have anywhere else. Not only that, but I felt very comfortable and cared for in her classroom. I felt her notes were individualized, with my best interest at heart, and helped deliver the best performance possible. Ms. Melody helped me change my mere singing on a stage into a performance where I touched everyone in the audience. She taught me to be confident in my voice and I appreciate what her class has taught me. Using what Ms. Melody taught me is going to take me to where I want to go in life, so remember both of our names.
