My key strengths include, but are not limited to: Inquiry-Based Learning, Creative Lesson Plan Development, Musician Skill, Quality Music Programming Individualized Education Plans, Technology Integration, Student Motivation,SEL, and Personal Assessments
EXPERIENCE
I will develop a stimulating lessons plan that covers a wide range of topics, and foster music appreciation through SEL based instruction. Instructing students by incorporating various technical applications. As a student and teacher, I’ve conducted rehearsals, put on musicals, concerts, performed at assemblies, while offering one-on-one as well as group instruction. Believing that instilling a sense of music appreciation by becoming Socially and emotionally competent, while at the same time developing excellent musicianship.
METHODS USED
My beginning students usually start with Hal Leonards Essential Elements, Accents on Achievements, Do It Play In Band, and much more. Once my student is able to grasp basic fundamentals and a healthy proper tone and technique, I will then be able to incorporate solo repertoire for future recitals and contests. For adults, I will find out what interests my students and coordinate my lessons accordingly to keep the lesson engaging and fun. For Wind players we will incorporate The Breathing Gym By Sam Pilafian and Patrick Sheridan. For Percussionist we will incorporate all rudiments, mallets, and Drum Set.
LESSON STYLE
I am dedicated, persistent, and reliable. I am willing to learn and keep learning for the advancement of myself and my students. A well-rounded appreciation for music as well as critical listening and ear-training skills will be taught.  I also maintain a pretty fast paced lesson, enabling the student to have plenty of practice material, technique studies, and goals to meet. I will record the student's progress electronically so that the student may better understand and learn from their lessons. I will inspire my student’s, positively influencing and encouraging them along our journey of musical discovery.
