Escuela tradicional de guitarra clasica española y cubana. Maestria guitarristica
2009-Salesiano San Juan Bosco. Dosquebradas-Colombia
Master of Classical Guitar from Colombia. I have studied classical guitar in the traditional school of classical Spanish and Cuban guitar, a school of international prestige. I have developed the three most important aspects that a professional musician should have. These aspects are: Theoretical knowledge, the development of the technique in the execution of the instrument, and the sensitivity. With skills in the framework of chamber music, guitar improvement, the development of the artist as a concert performer and the teaching of music Research at a particular level in music therapy, Musical stimulation for children 0 to 3 years.
Initially, the traditional school of classical Spanish and Cuban guitar has as a methodology to begin the process of construction of future instrument teachers, where students from 2 years of career should learn the teaching method and start the search for their Own students. This is how my music teaching process begins. Time later I started to give chair of classical guitar in the conservatory of music Pedro Morales Pino, in the city of Cartago - Colombia. Where I worked for 2 years, before traveling to the United States of America.
My teaching method varies depending on their age. From 4 years to 8 years i use an advance learning method, which consists of developing reading and playing based on color coding music notes. For people 9 and up the method i use is the traditional method from the Cuban and Spaniard school. This consists of developing the three characteristics of a musician. The first characteristic called Theory consists of the learning everything concerning music theory and the instrument. The second characteristic consists in the instrument technique where you learn the correct way to play the instrument to avoid bad movements that impede the instrument to sound correctly, or a possible illness. The last one is the sensitive characteristic which explores the whole emotional and interpretive part of music.
Nothing is more pleasant than being able to inspire my students to become passionate in what they do, and do what they love. The first thing i do when i begin the process of teaching a student is to ask him/her what he desires to achieve with what he wants to learn, from there i establish the intensity and demand in the apprenticeship. For those who want to achieve a professional level in the instrument must compromise his effort and his time in the study of his instrument. In this manner we will accomplish an enjoyable and adequate process, where there won't be any frustration or suffering.
