Currently pursuing my artistic aspirations at the esteemed Manhattan School of Music, I find myself under the guidance of the remarkable Mignon Dunn. My focus is on classical vocal performance, and I'm also delving into the creative realms of contemporary composition, seamlessly blending tradition with innovation. My commitment to musical excellence goes beyond the spotlight. I actively collaborate with local music producers and DJs, aiming to bring a fresh perspective to the rich tapestry of music. Reflecting on my artistic journey, I've had the privilege of being a soloist at the Moscow International House of Music and delivering memorable performances at esteemed venues like the Moscow State Tchaikovsky Conservatory and the Moscow State Central Museum of Musical Culture named after Glinka. I proudly participated in a choir that graced the Winter Olympic Games Closing Ceremony in Sochi and the White Nights Festival at the Mariinsky Theatre in St. Petersburg. In 2015, I embarked on a new chapter in the United States, earning my Bachelor of Music in Vocal Performance in 2023. Currently, I'm advancing my musical expertise in the Master's program at MSM. Within the school's supportive community, I've emerged as a valued soloist, contributing to works such as Bach's "Magnificat," Mozart's "Missa Brevis in F - Benedictus," and the chorus of Verdi's "La Traviata." In the summer of 2023, I showcased my artistry on the grand stage, presenting meticulously staged and orchestrated roles at the Mediterranean Opera Festival in Caltagirone, Sicily. I portrayed characters like Maddalena in Verdi’s “Rigoletto,” Ciesca in Puccini’s “Gianni Schicchi,” and Suor Infermiera in Puccini’s “Suor Angelica.” The same year, I embraced the role of a 'Witch' in MSM's compelling production of "Dido and Aenas" by Henry Purcell. Looking ahead to the spring of 2024, I eagerly anticipate my role as the enchanting 'Fairy' in Jules Massenet's "Cendrillon," a prestigious MSM production. These diverse roles showcase my versatility and commitment to bringing stories to life through evocative performances. Beyond my personal accomplishments, my heart lies in teaching and sharing the joy of music. I passionately collaborate with local homeschools, providing invaluable musical training to middle schoolers who lack access to music classes. Additionally, I bring my expertise to private teaching, enriching the lives of aspiring musicians with personalized instruction. In the realm of contemporary music, I'm known as Nika Cole, actively engaging in collaborations with local DJs, contributing to the vibrant music scene. My dedication to fostering musical appreciation extends into the community, where I find fulfillment in nurturing the next generation of artists. My musical journey is not just about personal accolades but is rooted in a genuine love for music, teaching, and the transformative power of artistic expression.
