i am a passionate and motivated instructor who loves working with students and sharing my love of music. in 2018, I garduated from California State University San Marcos with a Bachelor of art in arts Performing arts and Minor in Music Technology. Performing in France and San diego has been one of the greater experiences of my life as a musician, and i've had the oppotunity to play gigs as a guitarist and bass player in multiple Local Band. I have met in person famous artist as Paolo Nutini, Tryo, Jean Jacque Goldman and went to assist Concerts such as Eric Clapton and Chris Stapleton.
My teaching experience dates began during my university days, as i began teaching private lessons part time for 3 month in France. encouraging regular practice on a consistent schedule is one of the key points i like to emphasize for younger students, as it tends to help the student progress and gain a passion for the instrument. I also found that learning the bases of music would help student to play multiple instrument and grow up as an artist. I encouraged student on composing their own material as well as covering any song they would like to learn.
I am looking first at what the students know about music and what they can put into practice. Then according to their level i managed to teach them the 14 Chords on guitar in order to move forward in their ability skills. Then I will propose them to learn any songs of their choice and teach them the manner to play it ; arpeggio, Rythmic, solos. I can teach the students some basic of music theory for them to be able to read music and apply it on their instrument. I am using simple tablatures for beginner and simple schemes to make them learn the easiest way possible. the goal is to have fun in the process of learning.
I am very patient and only wants the success of my students. it is not a competion. every student have different abilities, so i will take the time to reapete as much as needed if there is any misunderstanding. i will set realistic goals for my student at each leasson. Seeing my student becoming better musicians will be rewarding to me and will make them want to learn more. By trying to find out what inspires my student , i can successfully tailor my instruction to their wants and needs. student will learn quick and will see result fast.
