The love I have for music is immense and I have always considered that sharing the knowledge that I have acquired throughout my life to others is a way to leave something of you in this world. I studied music from the age of 4, I started at the conservatory of music in Ecuador and years later, I graduated from Ramapo College in New Jersey obtaining my bachelor's degree in arts with a major in music. I have had great experiences as traveling and have performances in great venues in different parts of Latin America and in several states of the United States.
I started in the year 2011. At the age of 18 I had a lot of contact with people who liked my music and therefore asked me if I could help them improve the way they perform music. Since then I have filled with great satisfaction to see how as I shared my knowledge people developed their abilities. Since 2013 I have been officially working as a music instructor with students of different ages. It has been one of the best experiences of my life to share and meet people who have the same love for music as me.
For beginning students who are children, I start with the book "Learn to play piano" for piano students and for guitar "Learn to play guitar." It is a basic book with specific essential elements for reading and understanding music. As the student progresses I use to introduce songs for their repertoire applying what they leaned in the book. For Voice lessons is more practice, which includes exercises for breathing, diction, tune, Corporal expressions among others. For adults in any instrument, I always try to find out their needs and their interest so I can guide them and start a plan for every specific student. The most important thing is make the student feel confortable and create an fun and entertaining environment.
Every time I see progress in my students is definitely the best feeling ever. Is more than rewarding to see how their abilities and talent has improve. I always want to make them feel the same passion I have for music and share it with them. I care a lot of what the desires of the students are so we can establish realistic goals and help them to accomplished it. I understand that every student progresses is at their own pace so I always try to inspire them and tell them that is not about how fast is the learning process but how good and efficient it is.
