● First Place in Frost School of Music's White Ibis Ensemble International Composition Competition, 12/01/2016 Won first prize in the Frost School of Music's White Ibis Ensemble International Composition Competition among over 100 submissions with a panel of 6 award winning judges. The winning piece was performed during the Winter Heat New Music Festival on the Emerging Composers Concert, Sunday, February 19, 2017 4:00 p.m. at Gusman Concert Hall.
● Third Place in Golden Key Music Festival/Composition Competition, 01/01/2016 Competed among 76 participants from Greece, United States, Hong Kong, Singapore, Ukraine, Russia, China, Canada, Serbia, South Korea, Poland, Taiwan, Australia, India, and was awarded third place as well as the honorable mention in National Category. The work was recommended for the program of the World Composers Recital at the Golden Key Music Festival at Vienna, August 3, 2016 where the Diploma and Winner's Medal was presented on the stage of Vienna’s historic Ehrbar Hall during the Award Ceremony.
