I am a professional classical pianist, music educator and piano teacher who lives in San Diego, California. I have been studying piano since the age of six and have been a private piano instructor for over fifteen years. I am an artist with strong strategies and methodologies for teaching of young and adult piano students. She has diverse interests and background. Also, I have been teaching guitar over five years and performed with Grossmont College Guitar Ensemble. I studied piano with Ms. Barranger,Mr. Baker and Ms Roitman, also studied guitar with Mr. Benedetti.
I have been teaching piano for over fifteen years and teaching guitar for over five years. All ages and levels. My students are encouraged to enter competitions, exams, talent shows and recitals, as well as composing their own music. I enjoy teaching different styles of music. Its always fun to learn new music and this motivate student to practice and continue to learn. Encouraging regular practice on a consistent schedule. I also been teaching special-needed students for over two years.
We Help Preparing ABRSM Practical and Theory Exams I use different lessons plan for different students; Typically, all my students have their own unique plans and goals in order to help them to enjoy music and achieve their goals. Most of the time, students will pick what they are interested in, and at the same time, I teach students on what they need to know. No matter what level they are, I always keep it as fun as possible to keep them motivated. For method: I use Suzuki method, Hal Leonard's, Faber's, Alfred, Bastien, Schirmer's Library etc.
I believe learning music is an enjoyable experience. Students should have fun playing piano, but it is also important that they learn the necessary techniques while playing piano. My goal is to help individuals who are not interested in playing piano and teach them to enjoy playing music As for those who like playing piano, my goal is to teach and go in-depth about the background behind a piano piece; most important of all, to teach students to learn music in a fun and relaxed way. I Love Music and Children, its important to inspire student to play their music in a fun and enjoyable way. Teaching is my passion, helping students to achieve with what they want and need, is my goal.
