Overview:
I am a singer song writer/composer/producer with a lot of passion and creativity for original music who has always enjoyed performing more than anything else I have played numerous shows private-local-out of town and state I have taken musical courses here and there some college but most of my education came from actually performing and hanging out with seasoned musicians as I was coming up In my early school years I was a top art student being artistic from the get go gave me an edge as I evolved early on into the music field.
EXPERIENCE
I started teaching music back in 2007 to the public I taught all ages I have mentored and coached musically inclined children and teens on and off stage and have consulted musicians. Since my experience comes from being a performer I focused on developing my students from all musical angles as possible my key to making a successful music student is one who can perform and have fun at the same time I have taken students above their wildest dreams imagination . I took a year off to reunite with my band and generate some new material and now I have returned to teaching once again. My students have always enjoyed my high energy lessons.
METHODS USED
My method is simple , edgy and creative the approach is extremely understandable and fun as long as the student continues to set personal time for self practice the sky is the limit I personally take student on stage to perform with my band when I feel and see they are ready they learn many original songs that I have written and help them find their confidence on stage we will work on stage presence, showmanship and most of all working in a top notch rock n roll band there is a lot of involvement when comes to performing and entertaining an audience this is a bit more than recital or playing your favorite cover song htere's alot of creativity that goes on with my methods.
LESSON STYLE
I customize the lesson to the student through the basics of music and exercises. An instrument is your personality and I work close on my students progress throughout the time before they know it they are ready for their first band setting. I like to push my students to the next level and to their potential not all students are cut out for this business it takes a lot more than a pat on the back my students have to realize if their goal is be a music teacher or a hobby weekend musician than yeah you might want to go with the more structured teacher but if your in this to be an artist than I'm that guy.
