Hello! I am a professional guitarist who loves to teach my methods and "tricks of the trade" to anyone interested. My passion for music started when I was very young, and great teachers along the way have given me all the tools I need to pursue my dreams. I have been performing regularly since I was 14 years old and graduated from Belmont University with a degree in commercial guitar. I love to bring an enthusiastic and intelligent performance to every show and hope to share it with all of my students.
I've been playing guitar since I was 10 years old and had the pleasure of many great musical experiences along the way. I've performed countless amounts of shows around the nation and credit my on the job experience as equally important to my musical education. I encourage all of my students to perform as soon as they are ready and hope to motivate them to share their talents with the world. Most importantly though, I look to pass my excitement of the guitar on to every student I have.
My main philosophy is practicality. I want to instill a confidence in my students ability to play with feeling as well as knowledge. For beginners, I start with the basic fundementals of guitar and I work diligently with them to establish a solid foundation on which to build a lifetime of playing. For experienced players, I take whatever basis that has been established already and continue to build upon it in whichever direction the student desires to go.
I am a passionate teacher and love to see my students progress. Motivating them is priority and the feeling of getting better is the best way to do it. I am a fun person and I love to make my lessons enjoyable and comfortable to maximize learning. My goal is to help the student leave every lesson feeling like a better guitar player.
