Education: Five Towns College Percussion Major. Graduate of the “Long Island Drum Center Studio Drumming Course. Studied with Charlie Perry (Benny Goodman’s drummer and author of several classic drum instruction books) at Five Towns College, and privately for 19 years. Collaborated with Charlie Perry on an unpublished supplement to his drum book “Rockin’ Bass Drum”. Studied privately with Jim Holland (author of “The Complete Book of Drum Fills” and “The best Double Bass Book Ever”) for six years. Studied privately with Jerry Ricci (President of The National Drum Association and Musical Director for the Long Island Drum Center) for 2 years.
Professional Experience:
I have provided free lessons and drum circles to special needs children and adults At Saint Christopher Ottilie in Sea Cliff in addition to clients of A.H.R.C.
I work with Wounded Warrior Project to give free music lessons to wounded soldiers.
Playing drums for 41 years and teaching drums for 31 years.
Drum Technician for Dare Recording Studio and Richmond Street Recording Studio.
Conducts drum clinics at Senior and Junior High Schools.
Played all styles of music in America and England over the past 40 years.
Played weddings and Bar Mitzvahs for Hart to Hart agency.
North Shore Symphony Orchestra – Percussion.
Refinish and/or re-cover drum kits.

I am a drummer, teacher and author. As a professional instructor I have conducted drum workshops and clinics. I have been playing and studying drums for 41 years. For the past 31, I have been providing private instruction to drummers from beginners to advanced players.
I have played all styles of music in America and England over the past 40 years. I am a graduate of the “L.I.D.C. Studio Drumming Course” taught by Dom Famularo. In addition to teaching music and performing, I refinish drums and was the drum technician for Dare Recording Studios & Richmond Street Recording Studios.
