I have over 30 years of  teaching experience.  I began teaching Music right out of college, instrumental, vocal and general music classes.  As a Pastor I still directed musicals and I taught drumers how to play drumset and required them to play for my ministry once they were good enough. I spent many years making my living at teaching instrumental music privately in schools around the area I was pastoring.  Presently, I am teaching music classes along with piano lessons and instrumental music classes to many home school students.  

I like Faber and Faber piano adventures because they teach a lot like I do.  I've been developing a power point and You Tube presentation to go along with the book for those students who need more visual stimulus. I like various curruiculum's with Trumpet and Brass players.  I stay around the Trumpet players Bible using an Arban's book with some Clark exercises along with the students band book to help them not to form bad habits.
