I am a caring and passionate cello teacher who loves working with students. I have completed my two years of Suzuki Pedagogy training from the Cleveland Institute of Music, and I am a certificated cello teacher by the American Suzuki Association. I am doing my DMA cello performance degree from the University of Cincinnati College-Conservatory of Music (CCM). I have many experiences on teaching all kinds of students. My teacher is Alan Rafferty, who is the cello member of the Cincinnati Symphony Orchestra. My former teacher is Mark Kosower, who is the cello principal of the Cleveland Orchestra.
I use the Suzuki Pedagogy method to teach. It is a great and fun method for students to learn the cello. This method is very well organized. Step by step, you will learn so much after using Suzuki method for a while. This method gives you a musical environment, and it can make the cello become your second voice. Dr.Suzuki believed that every child, if properly taught, was capable of a high level of musical achievement. He also made it clear that the goal of such musical education was to raise generations of children with "noble hearts" (as opposed to creating famous musical prodigies).
