I’m Motivated and Very Inspired to watch my students grow as mature musicians. I studied music at Berklee College Of Music and performed and recorded with some of the best musicians in the world. I toured Europe, Canada, U.S, South America, Australia & Asia. There are many of my videos and performances on YouTube. I am an author of 4 Drum set and reading instructional books. One of my books a natural development and drumming technique is with Mel Bays publishing,I’m hundreds of drum clinics around the world.
My teaching experience is 30 years in the making. Many of my students have become professionals in the music business and have become top drummers in their school activities in music. My students have been encouraged to be professionals as teachers and Session musicians. Their accomplishments I have been outstanding performances and recitals. Each student has been Motivated and excited after each lesson. I take the time to teach at the students pace and gear the lessons for the student to progress Rapidly. Enjoyment And and fulfillment are my goals.
I connect with my students in the first drum lesson to in order for me to understand their aspirations to learn and grow as drummers and musicians. In the begginging stages I teach the student proper technique so there will be no bad habits building Dexterity,Fluency and Retaining the information given in each lesson. I also record video using the Iphone To give to the students archive lessons to learn and go back to when needed. My mission is for my students to be inspired to want to go home and practice after each lesson.
It is very rewarding to me to see each one of my students learning,Applying and adapting to each lesson I give. Therefore, it is important that each one of my students progressive at their own pace. I always encourage each accomplishment to inspire each student to want to progress in their learning ability. I will tailor my instruction to their wants and needs in order for growth and enjoyment. Realistic Goals and making the right choices for each Individual student is important to me and I am honored to be a part or there musical life.
