Based in Nashville, TN, I am skilled across the board as an artist, keyboardist, songwriter, producer, composer, arranger, and private teacher. A seasoned songwriter and producer, I create distinguished melodies, raw lyrics, and innovative sounds across a variety of genres. Brilliant in the music technology realm, I have the ability shape and refine my inventive ideas from concept to completion. I am well versed in commercial and jazz styles on keyboard, and I have an array of performance experience. My breathtaking musical scores and thrilling arrangements can be applied to media or live performance. I teach private lessons with an expertly creative approach, training my students in all styles, integrating songwriting, composing, and music technology, and personalizing each lesson to the students’ interests and needs. In 2021, I graduated from Belmont University with a degree in Commercial Music (Composition and Arranging emphasis). I cannot wait to make music together!
I began teaching private lessons five years ago and I am incredibly passionate about empowering my students to find their callings in the music industry. I find that combining classical and commercial training is extremely beneficial to my students. I train them in all styles, integrating and introducing my students to songwriting, improvisation, recording techniques, composition, and music technology. As a music producer, session musician, arranger, composer, songwriter, and artist in Nashville, Tennessee, I train students to find their sound and become leaders and innovators in the music industry.
I guide my instruction in order to keep my lessons, fun, engaging, and valuable to my students, and I customize each lesson to their interests and needs. Typically, I teach piano along with an area of emphasis, whether it be composition, improvisation, production, or songwriting. I believe that learning piano is best paired with a well rounded musical education. For beginning students who are children, I emphasize reading music and an understanding of music theory. Then, if the student desires, I train them in commercial styles such as pop, country, and jazz.
I am so passionate about each student finding what inspires them musically, which is why I give them a well rounded musical education. Nothing is more rewarding than seeing my students develop their their skills and passions. With my well rounded training, my students become innovators and leaders in the music industry. We explore a broad range of topics so that the student can get maximum exposure to opportunities available in the industry. I often integrate music technology, music creation, and discussions about the music business into my lessons.
