Sarah has a vast knowledge of string instruments. I was hesitant about learning viola, but she was nothing but encouraging and positive. Lessons have been productive and an efficient use of my time. I couldn't believe how much I’d progressed after just a few weeks! I really appreciate that she allows the lesson to build upon my prior knowledge and doesn’t waste my time with drilling certain exercises unless they are warranted. Listens to my concerns and gives me confidence and ownership of my abilities. When I wanted to play a simple duet with her she encouraged me and made it happen! She is also flexible if I need to change a lesson time, allowing for the occasional rescheduling. Wonderful educator. Highly recommended.
