I believe that one of the most important things a musician can do is to find and develop their own voice on their instrument. Listening to the greats like Miles Davis, Jaco Pastorius, Jimi Hendrix, and Chick Corea illustrate how a unique voice can manifest itself and make the music so much more powerful. Music is my life. I have been playing piano since I was 6 (18 years) and guitar, bass guitar, drums for 10 years. I graduated last fall with a bachelor's degree in Piano Performance from ASU Jonesboro AR. I have learned a variety of expansive repertoire ranging from Renaissance through Contmemporary.
