For piano students I usually use Piano Adventures method books while supplementing with scales, pop and classical repertoire, theory, ear training, history and more. For ukulele and guitar we focus on strumming patterns, rhythm, chords, and repertoire anywhere from rock or pop to classical. When I was in high school, I wrote to percussion scores for our marching shows. In my senior year, I was picked up by a musical touring group, and I was able to play drum set with professionals.
