I am a Bolivian violinist/composer who grew up homeschooled with my two parents being educators. They would always emphasize the idea of the impossibility of teaching someone, meaning that I would have to teach myself before every class with them. Further in life, I was able to build reading, practice, and exercise habits due to this dynamic. I am extremely passionate about music and have been driven my whole life, so I show my passion in my teaching by my exuberant and fun teaching style. I like to focus on long term and short term projects to build confidence in a variety of ways. I expect regular practice if not daily, and I ask questions during lessons to stimulate critical thinking. Nothing is more rewarding than seeing one of my students develop a passion for music! Therefore, it's important that each student progresses at his or her own pace. I encourage this by setting realistic goals for my students at each lesson. Acknowledging accomplishments helps fuel a students desire to progress, and makes students eager to learn more.
