My teaching experience began in spring 2008 at a local church where taught piano drums classes as a music instructor to students ranging from ages 5-18. Throughout college I was a piano and voice instructor at the Boys and Girls Club Music Clubhouse in Boston MA where I continued teach students ranging from ages 10-18.For the past three years I have continued to provide private instruction and tutoring for students of all ages.I find that my students have a much more pleasurable learning experience, when they are able to apply what they learn in ways that are meaningful to their desire and aspirations.I've always encouraged my students to uphold a positive work ethic and mindset when embarking on their musical journey. I have taught privately for 13 years now including my own studio, Guitar Center, Gallatin Music, and London Studios. I have publicly taught drumline at Riverton High School. I can teach many different instruments at a beginner level, but drumset is my main instrument that I can teach from beginner to advanced. I am extremely passionate about all things music. I have been playing the flute and piano for 15 years. I graduated from Mercer University in May of 2016 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Music. I have performed at many musical conventions during my career, including the National Flute Association Convention in 2013 and 2015. I was also recently selected to perform in the NFA Collegiate Flute Choir at the 2016 annual convention.
