I'm an instructor with a passion for enhancing the natural musical talents in our youth and adults. I greatly enjoy working with students of all ages in the hopes that they come to share my love for music and the flute specifically.  I graduated from Butler University with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Arts Administration.  I've been blessed to play in many interesting venues, including Clowes Memorial Hall of Butler University throughout my college career. Having recordings of a student also allows them to remember where they started and where they have grown to. I find that positive reinforcement of all elements of flute playing are essential. I started teaching in band camp the summer after my first year of college and have continuously worked with several schools in KY. I have given lessons to students who are just starting out and high school students preparing for auditions and/other performances. I highly encourage students to start taking lessons as early as possible to establish good habits and break bad ones.
