For all ages I like to begin with a skills test. Where they show me where they currently stand with their instrument. From there I refer to books by Trevor Wye to give students a strong fundamental basis in tone, technique, articulation, intonation/vibrato, and breathing/scales. From there the lessons would be tailored to where the student wants to go with their learning. I am a fun, outgoing and passionate instructor who sets goals with the student and works with them to achieve them.  I have a very diverse background in performance and in teaching as well.  I most enjoy performing jazz, classical, and musical theater.  I have taught students as young as four years old, up through adult learners on various instruments and at various experience levels. I continued through my undergraduate program leading sectionals for my ensembles and coaching local high school students.
