I have been told that I am a very energetic and encouraging teacher - I want my students to succeed and to be happy in their singing! I defintely will not stay seated behind the piano for the entire lesson. I like to get up and get involved! I won't ask students to try anything that I won't demonstrate myself first, which I have found usually puts them at ease (this is especially true with children and teens.) I have been a voice student myself for many years, so I know how it feels to be in their shoes, and I try to be as constructive and encouraging as possible while helping them discover their voice. I have been teaching others since 2006 during my high school years. It has continued on even to today; other than private lessons I have been a staff member for band in schools across Louisiana and Texas. I have always been dedicated to my students and their pursuit of musical mastery through setting achievable goals and helping students exceed them. I graduated in 2016, and started pursuing a career in audio production in film.
