My teaching experience began 12 years ago when I was a high school student as a requirement of the Pedagogy class of the Conservatory I was studiying. I began teaching private lessons in a Elementary music School. Through the years I become a clarinet and chamber Music teacher in a Conservatory and hold a home studio until I decided to pursue my musical studies.Here in the States I began giving private lessons around the Boston area, as part of a pedagogy program I taught privateclarinet lessons and Band sectionals in Cambridge and Brighton Elementary Schools. For beginners, I put a strong emphasis on the fundamentals of music, such as getting to know the staff, time signatures, how to construct a major scale, etc. I will also introduce the student to intervals, which are the basic building blocks of western music. The student will also begin basic ear training, by learning to recognize certain intervals by ear, and also learning to sing and play on their instrument when given a reference pitch. Read More

Nothing is more rewarding than seeing one of my students develop a passion for music! Therefore, it's important that each student progresses at his or her own pace. I encourage this by setting realistic goals for my students at each lesson. Acknowledging accomplishments helps fuel a students desire to progress, and makes students eager to learn more. I am a passionate and motivated teacher, who loves working with students of all ages. I am primarily a saxophone player, but love learning new instruments. In 2020, I graduated from UMass Lowell with a Bachelor’s in Music Studies. In 2022, I graduated with a Master’s in Music Education. I enjoy teaching and performing with the New England Youth Wind Ensembles in Lowell, MA. In these ensembles, I provide individual and group lessons to middle and high school students. Read More
