I have had many students on flute, clarinet and saxophone over the last ten years and even extending back into high school where I often tutored younger students. My methods first focus on self discipline through inspiration and time efficient practice routines. I have found through empirical evidence that a student can learn more in 20 minutes with focused and disciplined practice than they might in 3 hours of unfocused practice. I have had students who fall upon a wide spectrum of musical aspirations, from aspiring professionals to students who simply wish to demystify their band music, and I can form each lesson plan to their specific needs. I'm a recent transplant to Brooklyn, NY after spending seven wonderful years studying and working in Boston! Originally from Gainesville, Florida, I first learned piano, then added saxophone, clarinet, flute, and bass in my middle and high school years. I went on to receive a Bachelor's degree from the University of Miami and a Master's degree from the New England Conservatory in Boston. I have been my musical journey on clarinet in the second grade, and I have stuck with it ever since! I then picked up tenor saxophone to play in the jazz big band, and I began my piano journey at the end of high school to diversify my musical knowledge!
