I've been teaching since about my sophomore year in college, So that puts me at approximately 4 years at this. I have taught private lessons, entire sections and entire ensembles. Ensembles that I have taught have gone on to win many awards, I've even had a few of my private students make it to their district bands.   I have been teaching and mentoring students for 7 years.  I hold a B.A. from Hampton University, a M.M. from Central Michigan University, and a North Carolina teaching license in instrumental music education.  I am currently a band director in Leland North Carolina. I teach brass, woodwind and percussion methods. I enjoy working with students and performing great music.  My teaching career began in college.
