My teaching Experience goes back to High school. When I was in High school Our Marching Band had section Leaders. I was the front ensemble section leader. This meant I taught the Front ensemble the show music, Run sectionals to Clean the music, and in 2017 took the highest winning award in the cavalcade of bands history. Lessons NEED to be enjoyable, almost memorable experience. My philosophy is: as a teacher, the student should want to have another lesson the following week. Meaning, having something say a scale, 3 notes, a chord, or almost a whole song really understanding and sticks to the mind. This should make the student want to learn something new the following week, continuing the snowball effect of music theory (jamming as the kids say it). Read More

I love seeing my students getting involved with music and having a passion for it. I try to encourage my students so that helps them to progress and feel like they have accomplished there art. I try to set goals each lessons. I give homework. I like to see my students practice and do homework I give out. On the next lesson we will review what they practiced.
