I encourage this by setting realistic goals for my students at each lesson. Acknowledging accomplishments helps fuel a students desire to progress, and makes students eager to learn more. Music has been a passion of mine from age 6. I got my start playing the piano with friends trying to figure out the music from Super Mario 64. Not a day has gone by since then that I haven't picked up an instrument of some kind. It's been a goal of mine to learn as many instruments as possible throughout my life and focus on the instruments I love. I've been teaching for over 4 years with this last year at Guitar Center in Ogden. I love teaching and finding ways to motivate and get my students excited about learning and progressing on their instrument. I focus on developing a personalized curriculum for each of my students and helping them work toward their musical goals - whether it be casual strumming or more serious pursuits.
