I began teaching at Roy High in 2019. I spent 3 years there with the marching band and moved on to Ogden High in 2021. I completed my second fall season with Ogden and look forward to many more. I always want to put the needs of the student first. I want to teach according to what they need or want and make sure they understand what they are doing and why they are doing it. I like to play along with the students because I want them to hear what more experienced players sound like too. I believe it's important to be able to play on your own as well, but I played with my private teachers and it helped me so much to hear them and then copy what they were doing. Read More
