The teaching methods I work with depends totally on the student. Many beginning snare drum students start off in Logical Approach to snare drum and beginning drum set students start out in Alfred beginning drum set method. I tend to like the Essential Elements series for band instruments, the Alfred books for piano and guitar, the Real Book for a wide variety of jazz repertoire. Read More
