I focus on posture, theory, and intonation, and once these basics are mastered, the sky's the limit! I've taught a variety of classical music, fiddle music, popular and Disney music, even rock and roll. The thing to remember is that every musical experience will teach a student something, so once we have the basics down, students really get to choose their music that they want to play. I have been playing viola for seven years and violin for nine years. I have worked with students that are in middle school up to high school. In high school, I played with the Kalamazoo Junior Symphony Orchestra in Michigan. Then I played with the Saint Mary's College String ensemble and the Notre Dame Symphony Orchestra, and went on tour with the NDSO, for a year. I graduated high school in 2017, went to Saint Mary's College at Notre Dame, IN, and I am now at Columbia Basin College in Pasco, WA. Read More
