The key goal for me as a teacher is making sure that my student is enjoying what they're doing. Music is supposed to be fun after all! I achieve this by allowing my student to progress at their own pace while they develop both their knowledge of music and their enjoyment of the craft. I like to really dig into fundamentals by making sure that they are FUNdamentals! A student will learn more if they are enjoying the process, and that is key to making a long lasting impact, and instilling in a student that they will have all the tools they need to become the best musician they can. This is my first time teaching private lessons. I have been playing for 9 years and singing for 10. I have taken private lessons in the past but I am looking forward to being able to teach the thing that I love to do. I am a fun, hardworking, and dedicated teacher and hope I can make an impact on my students. My motto is if you are not having fun while working hard then we are not doing it right. Read More

I love nothing more than being able to help my students develop and grow a passion for music! It is also important that each student progresses at their own pace. The great thing about one on one teaching is each of my students get individual time with me versus being in a band class with lots of other students. Private lessons allow me to pace each lesson based on each individual student and tailor each lesson based on what type of music a student might be interested in learning. Read More
