I have had more regular students since my early twenties, from young children to senior citizens. I like to use Alfred's Piano Basics for my beginners. They have a system for all age groups. As students progress, they are encouraged to bring in their own music or ask for certain songs that they would like to accomplish. This keeps them engaged and motivated. When it comes time for recitals or competitions I will typically recommend something, but it's always agreed upon between student, teacher, and often parents. Read More
