I have been teaching saxophone lessons as well as tutoring music theory for the past 3 years. I am able to work with beginners up to advanced players. Also, I can offer flute lessons for beginners and those who are at an intermediate level. I have always loved to teach. I began teaching in elementary school in 6th grade, where I would help in kindergarten classroom as a mentor program. In the 10th grade I would often visit my 9th grade science teacher and help her with her class. At 17 I taught a couple adults to read. When teaching, I start all of my students from the beginning, even if they have experience. The more the student already knows, the quicker we can move. It is extremely important to make sure each student has an very strong foundation and is comfortable with the basics of flute playing. I am a Rochester Musician and Educator who loves sharing the joy of music with students of all ages. I grew up learning music in the Rochester area and received a scholarship to Berklee College of Music in Boston, MA in 2015. I graduated in 2018 with a Bachelor's Degree in Professional Music. Currently, I am the Music Director for Journey Church, and a musician for the International Musicians League.
