Learning an instrument should be a fun experience in the process of development. I also teach ages from seven to ninety years of age. Since each student learns differently, I utilize a variety of teaching methods. Some students are auditory learners. Some students are visual learners. Some students learn better when several method books are used in correlation with each other. I am a sensitive and determined instructor and I love teaching music and sharing its beauty. I am currently completing my studies at Kennesaw State University where I will be obtaining a degree in Saxophone Performance. While attending Kennesaw I have had copious teaching and performing opportunities. Since learning the oboe I have been searching for every possibility to play the oboe. It all started out with my high schools Wind ensemble, and then trying out for the schools pit orchestra when the musical season rolled around! Sooner or later I had been recruited to play with the schools choir as well and then found myself seeking more and so then I asked my Band director if there were any local ensembles and he told me about the community band to which I auditioned and made it! but even then I went out of my way to find a private teacher and she points me toward a youth symphony a town over and I got into that as well..
