Since learning the oboe I have been searching for every possibility to play the oboe. It all started out with my high schools Wind ensemble, and then trying out for the schools pit orchestra when the musical season rolled around! Sooner or later I had been recruited to play with the schools choir as well and then found myself seeking more and so then I asked my Band director if there were any local ensembles and he told me about the community band to which I auditioned and made it! but even then I went out of my way to find a private teacher and she points me toward a youth symphony a town over and I got into that as well..
